AINA (Artisan in Architecture) is looking for a Technical Research Coordinator!
AINA is an initiative under Community empowerment of Hunnarshala Foundation, with the objective to provide building technology support. AINA uses technology -
  • With a focus on empowering communities in rural and urban spaces.
  • Strengthen the outreach and livelihoods for traditional building artisans.
  • Provide education to students and professionals on green building systems.
  • Research and validate cutting edge sustainable building technologies for scale up.
  • Provides technology and construction support to building projects that want to build sustainably.
  • Provide policy support on matters related with housing and infrastructure to governments, NGO’s and private sector.
Research initiatives have focused on lime, earth, bamboo, construction waste, evaporative cooling, flooring and wall finishes and insulation.
We are looking to hire a Technical Research Coordinator with abilities to steer the research, coordinate with partners, conduct trainings, support construction teams and document and publish. The candidate should have minimum qualifications in BE/ME (BTech/MTech) in civil engineering with at least three years’ work experience. He/she should be proficient in English and relevant computing software. The position is based out of Bhuj.
