Lime Workshop, 2019

Dates: 27th and 28th July 2019
Venue: Hunnarshala Campus, Bhuj

UPDATE: The seats to this workshop are full now and we have closed the registration.
The two day workshop will focus on the techniques of lime mortar and finishes with hands-on training for Lime Rendering. These are traditional finishes of Jodhpur and Jaipur region. There will be talks from experts like geologists as well as discussions on the idea of sustainability with lime as an environment friendly building material and its significance.

Beejaram, an artisan from a village near Jodhpur works on a local technique of lime finish called Kodi Marble. He and his team have agreed to join us in this workshop. They will bring with themselves their knowledge and share with us the traditional wisdom of their place.
